Safe Motherhood and Maternal Health

Ensuring safe motherhood involves promoting maternal health care that guarantees the safety and well-being of both mother and child. This objective focuses on providing access to quality prenatal and postnatal care, family planning, and skilled birth attendants to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates in vulnerable populations.

Build Capacity of Community Structures

MMHF aims at Strengthening local community structures, such as health committees and support groups, is key to sustaining long-term health improvements. This objective aims to provide these structures with the necessary skills, tools, and knowledge to better serve their communities and foster sustainable health solutions.

Community Empowerment for Health and Social Development

MMHF aims at empowering communities to take charge of their own health and well-being. Through education, skill development, and providing access to resources, we enable communities to address their health challenges and improve their socio-economic conditions.

Non-Communicable Diseases(NCDs)

MMHF focuses on raising awareness and promoting preventive measures for non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. By fostering healthy lifestyle choices, early detection, and proper management, we aim to reduce the burden of NCDs in vulnerable communities.

USAID Uganda Health Activity

The USAID Uganda Health Activity is dedicated to improving health outcomes across Uganda by strengthening healthcare systems, enhancing service delivery, and expanding access to quality health services for vulnerable populations. This initiative focuses on promoting sustainable, community-driven health solutions.

TB contact Tracing

MMHF TB Contact Tracing project focuses on identifying and monitoring individuals who have been in close contact with tuberculosis patients. By improving early detection and providing timely intervention,

Malaria reduction in vulnerable communities

 MMHF currently is a sub recipient of Global funds through TASO, which supports implementation of "Supporting Uganda's Malaria Reduction and Elimination Strategy" in vulnerable communities among 10 districts, Through community engagement and health interventions, we aim to lower malaria incidence and improve overall health outcomes
